Rudder Up

rudder on n names on the way 5-4-14

This weekend we got the rudder back up in place, the stuffing box stuffed, the wheel is all hooked up, we ordered the lettering and ID#s too. The rudder was quite heavy, I used every muscle in my body and it laughed at me. Nonetheless we got alot of stuff done. We are pretty sure we are about 2 weeks to SPLASH. The leaking hole on the keel has been leaking pretty good for the past couple of days, and this morning, nothing. Hopefully it has all seeped out and is drying, hahaha. We plan on putting the first bottom coat on in a couple of days, so we are going to epoxy the hole up real good, and call it good. And check it all the time.
