250 Gallons Of Fresh Water

I was starting a bowl of dirty dishes, hahaha, and the water pump wouldn't turn off. The Cap'n says that we should have plenty of water, because he himself had put alot of water in the other day. Which gives me an opportunity to learn the water tanks.
We have two stainless steel tanks, 125 gallons, each. The water comes thru a water hose, thru the deck, down the hull, on the starboard side, to the water tank, then it has holes that keep the 2 tanks level. The valves to check the water, is right at the bottom of the companionway. There is a man that lives at the bottom of one of the water tanks. We need to cycle in fresh, clean water, by the time we venture out to the deep blu, hahaha, top of the priority list, that will be fresh, clean water. Also we have one spout that is in the head that has filtered water.
We also have a hot water tank, I think it's like 6 gallons. And the water is frikkin hot!! Which is located under the aft cabin, under the bunk. We hold alot more water than alot of sv's, Sailing Vessel's.
Hot and cold running water
